Free Insulation

A large number of Australian's are aware of the two stimulus packages announced by the Federal Government in the 2nd half of 2008. Included in these packages was the provision for Australian property to owners to receive Federal government assistance to insulate their home. This package was designed to firstly reduce their energy bills by approx $200 a year, which also assists Australia in taking another step towards reaching the carbon emission reduction targets agreed at Kiyoto and to stimulate a significant sector of the building industry to keep up employment in one of Australia's biggest industries.
The stimulus measure called the Energy Efficient Homes Package allows for up to $1600 to be provided as a subsidy for homeowners to insulate their property. Investment property owners also receive up to $1000 as a subsidy for insulation in domestic dwellings. This will see up to 2.9 million homes receive insulation under this package which at this stage is due to be completed in July 2011.
This huge bonus for residents, property owners, renters, installers and suppliers has seen demand outstrip supply for the first time in a long while, leading to some delays with being able to supply services and product as readily as expected.
Home Insulation Services will work with you to minimise any delay or inconvenience and ensure you are getting the right product and service not just the "handy" substitute, for your home. To find out whether you are eligible for free insulation and whether the allowance covers all your needs simply contact us for an obligation free assessment.
